WHO WE ARE

Lightline pilgrimages, one of Britain ‘s best names in religious, historical and specialist travel, is moving from Surrey to Essex in the Spring of 2008 and will now stand alone from its current parent company Temple World. Lightline will continue to work together with Temple World on selected programmes especially in Turkey, Greece and the Greek Islands.

Our commitment at Lightline Pilgrimages is exemplified by our collective blending of thirty years’ accumulated understanding of the special needs of Christian travellers together with the intimate knowledge of the countries in which we operate and the fervent wish to make your pilgrimage a truly meaningful journey. We have organised many groups to the areas we travel and we want you to enjoy the same excitement that we have.

Lightline has adopted a pioneering approach in the Holy Land in supporting Christian business partners in the travel and pilgrimage industry as a top priority.  It is our aim, whenever possible, to ensure that every pound spent on behalf of our clients in the Holy Land goes to support Christian concerns - hotels, tour companies, guides, coach companies, restaurants, etc.  Many church leaders have chosen Lightline as their preferred pilgrimage operator because of the strength of our commitment to the Christian presence in Palestine and Israel.

Rene John Siva, has been operating exclusive journeys for discriminating pilgrims for over thirty years. Lightline prides itself on its in-depth knowledge of the countries it covers and on its personal attention to customer detail. We have well over 300 standard and new and innovative itineraries to chose from.

Lightline organizes pilgrimages and tours to a wide range of destinations – not least to the Middle East region of Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Syrian, Egypt and the Lebanon. Our European destinations include Cyprus, Italy, Turkey, Greece, Spain, Germany, Russia, Portugal, France and Poland.
