SPREADING THE GOSPEL
Paul’s mission to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ
throughout the world led him first to Asia Minor, modern day
Turkey, to some of the largest and most influential cities in
the Roman world. On his first journey he sailed to Pamphylia
along the south coast of Turkey and preached at Perge, and
Attalia, modern Antalya. On his second he visited Ephesus on
the Aegean Coast while on his third journey and on his voyage
to Rome he called at cities in the nearby province of Lycia,
at Myra and Patara. It was among the people of these cities
that Christianity first spread from its home base of Syria and
Palestine.
SAIL WITH SAINT PAUL
Our own journeys tours reflect Paul’s role in this
epoch-making time in the history of Christendom, combining the
milieu of the cities visited by Paul with seas and mountains
little changed in two thousand years. Our private cruises
along the coasts of Turkey and the adjacent Greek Islands are
extremely successful and truly
convey the atmosphere of the period, as
well as creating a time of great relaxation, contemplation and
fellowship.
THE MISSIONARY JOURNEYS
We offer a number of itineraries associated with the events
related in Acts of the Apostles, including private cruises
reflecting Paul's First Journey to Pamphylia and Lycia, his
Second Journey to Ephesus, Athens and Corinth, and his Third
Journey along the Aegean Coast to Miletus.
SAINT JOHN AND THE SEVEN CHURCHES
We also cruise though the Greek Islands, including Rhodes
and especially Patmos , where St John the Divine wrote the
Book of Revelation, and we can visit the Seven Churches –
Smyrna, Thyatira, Laodicea, Ephesus, Pergamon and
Sardis.
